Theresa Rah is co-partner of Oratio, an English consulting company. Rah rose to stardom in Korea, following her persuasive and eloquent speeches as communications director of the Pyeongchang 2018 Olympic & Paralympic Winter Games Bid Committee. A graduate of Ewha Woman University, Rah joined the bid committee in 2010 and appeared in nine presentations on behalf of the committee, including the final presentation in Durban, South Africa, where Pyeongchang was named the host city of the 2018 Winter Games. She also worked as a member of the bidding committee for the Yeosu World Expo.
Rah formerly was an anchorwoman at Arirang TV, an English broadcast network in Korea. She is currently the host of the Arirang TV show, “Heart to Heart”. A daughter of a career diplomat, Rah spent her childhood abroad, including Canada, Denmark, and Malaysia. She is fluent in Korean, English, and French. Since 1997, Rah has served as emcee or moderator at more than a dozen international conferences and events, including the Nuclear Summit 2012, World Knowledge Forum, Asian Leadership Conference, Seoul Peace Prize, and more. For her contribution to winning the bid for the 2018 Winter Games, she received the Maengho Medal, second highest Order of Sport Merit, and Convention Promotion Award. She is the author of a best-seller, “Rah, Seungyun’s Presentation,” published in 2012 by 21 Century Books.
